Equine Assisted Development

Equine Assisted Development (EAD) at Take Flight Farms (also known as team building or corporate training) offers adult groups the opportunity to discover new ways to approach obstacles…by working with horses! Participation in specialized group activities with our horses and knowledgeable facilitators will help your group rediscover their unique leadership and creative problem solving skills while building confidence and personal awareness. You will learn to look at situations differently and walk away with a great tool to use in reflection, reframing and finding new ways forward for yourself and your team.

What is involved?

Your group travels to our farm for a half-day or full day of ground-based activities with horses (for example: one activity we use to foster teamwork is Equine Soccer, and the horses are the soccer balls!). Our experienced facilitators guide the session, including discussion of what happened with the horses and how it relates to the day-to-day activities of your team.
